  • Jan: joined a Pick Fouroutlinks.gif goals program
  • Feb: 500 blog posts and 5 years of blogging; panelist at Canadian Association of Management Consultants; spoke at Podcamp Toronto
  • Mar: interviewed on Liquid Lunch (video below); speaking at the Estate Planning Council of Halton; earned my Competent Communicator (CC) designation from Toastmasters International
  • Apr: spoke at Advocis Golden Triangle
  • May: spoke about trust at Good Works and FreelanceCamp Toronto; first professionally-recorded video
  • Jun: finished term as President of Goodyear Toastmasters (club achieved all 10 points in the Distinguished Club Program; spoke at the Experion Groupoutlinks.gif; joined the Western Alumni organizing committee in Toronto
  • Aug: interviewed in The Globe and Mail: actuary invests in himselfoutlinks.gif
  • Sep: son went to Western; speaking about Building Trust With LinkedIn at Advocis Peel-Halton
  • Oct: interviewed on the Qb money showoutlinks.gif by Joe Barbieri; finished conducting interviews for the Business Excellence Award for Local Economic Impact
  • Nov: attended the Business Excellence Awards gala, the Globe and Mail Small Business Summit and TEDxRyersonU; lots of ongoing work
  • Dec: received The Rudy Award (the highest honour in Goodyear Toastmasters); ended the Marketing Reflections newsletter after 42 issues; joined the Actionable Books Guest Writer Program (expect 6 reviews in 2013);
